New Hope just finished a series LETTERS TO THE CHURCH. Now the church is in a series BECOMING. LETTERS TO THE CHURCH asked the question what and this series tells the how; how do we become an OVERCOMING church.
Pastor Mike Addison preached both 9 and 11 a.m., services from Acts 2:42-47 DAILY ROUTINE. You will be an OVERCOMING CHURCH if you develope a daily routine for GOD.
Sin is not doing bad things; it is an under current to life. If you don’t spend time with God daily the under current of life will start pulling and you will start drifting.
You can not coach effort you can coach everything, but effort is not coachable. You should be grateful for all things Philippians 2:13-14 God works and you work.
The early church grew because of intentionality. The church was intentional in the word, prayer, communion and fellowship.
Church is a body of believers that are in a community. New Hope is building; growth is intentional. The church has over 600 members and has everything anyone could ask for.
With the new building you don’t become when you get in the building YOU BECOME NOW!
It is time to prioritize your life. Your life should already be prioritized with prayer and the reading of the word. However there is more that you need to do.
There is worship. You don’t need to stop attending church. Church attendance needs to be a priority.
Fellowship is essential part. The church has that one down. Life is meant to be in circles not rows. You need to find a connection.
There are those who are lost and need to be won to Jesus. There is a harvest out there that is ready if you will be intentional to reach out.
The series altar call was a challenge. It is time to be intentional for God. Growing is being intentional.
