CORRECTION

Imagine a life where there is no correction, how good would it be and how bad would it be? Remember turning in an assignment at school and getting the assignment corrected by the teacher?
Read more: CORRECTIONBeing corrected and disciplined is never pleasant for children or fully devoted followers of Jesus the Son of God. However correction and being disciplined is necessary for children and true believers.
On Sunday, December 28, the young adult pastor Brandon Harbin preached from 1 Samuel 4:18-26.
The Sons of Eli was doing wrong. Eli would not correct his sons. The e nation of Israel made a plan and it was not God’s plan. Just because something worked before does not mean it will work again especially if God does not say do it.
The nation of Israel was at war they thought they could bring the ark of God without repentance and they shouted however God was not with them. Without repentance there will be defeat.
When you pray and fast your body is disciplined and you see the areas you need to correct in your life. The presence of God will come when there is true repentance.
If you want true revival there must be sincere repentance. In 2020 all the ‘prophets’ was saying Trump will win consecutive times; however true prophets call a nation to repentance not call for winners of elections.
There is an under current to life which causes you to drift away from God. However when you pray which is communicate with God, in His Word, and true biblical fasting and repentance you will see areas in your life that need corrected
It is okay to say no. God says yes He also says no Something else God says is wait. It is hard to wait most people rather hear no than wait.
When a nation repents the glory returns true revival breaks out and not contained. The Philistines captured the ark of God and plagues broke out the god dagon was toppled and broke in half.
The enemy of Israel was smarter than God’s chosen people and returned the ark of God to the nation of Israel.
You can have a plan however if it is not God’s plan it will not work. When you are corrected and disciplined you are in the family; no correction seems good at the time. Nevertheless correction is needful.
