It is regional tournament time in Harlan County. The North Laurel Jaguars took on the Knox Central Panthers. The Panthers got beat by the Jags on last game of the season.
Both teams were looking to go on.
The Jags got the tip but the Panthers were the first to score. To start the second quarter the Jags was down by four (5-9). But the Jags hit a huge 3. But it was not enough to come up.
The Panthers wanted to go on in the first half and was up by 10 (17-27).
“With our season on the line and down by 10 we didn’t want to go lose,” Head Coach Brad Sizemore said. “I really didn’t do anything.”
The Jags started playing and got some heart in the fourth quarter till down by eight (29-37).
