Imagine being in a dry dessert, think of being in a dry wilderness. Imagine not any food or water. Sadly that is the case in a lot of churches people are in a wilderness. Have you ever been in a wilderness wondering around the mountain? Have you ever been in a dry church service to where there is no life?

New Hope Church of God in Corbin, Ky., is in a summer series GOD OF IMPOSSIBLE PLACES. Sunday, June 28, there was a baptism where nearly ten people made a public declaration of being baptized.
Pastor Paula Farmer preached at 11 a.m. WATER IN THE WILDERNESS from Genesis 21:14-20. God always provides water in the wilderness and God Hears the cries of His children.
God made Abraham and Sarah a promise and when God makes a promise He don’t need help making it happen; sadly everyone tries to help God with His promises. Sarah said Abraham you go to my slave Hagar and see if God will fulfill His promise and Abraham listened.
However, God fulfilled His promise and Isaac had trouble with his brother Ishmael. Ishmael started giving Isaac trouble every family knows you can pic on me but hands off the kids.
Hagar and Ishmael was sent out in to the wilderness it is in the wilderness that you trust God and it is the hardest times to trust Him when you are in the wilderness. God hears you when you are in the wilderness. God heard the lad because he came from Abraham and God provided water in the wilderness.
In Exodus 17:1-6 The children of Israel wanted water. Most of the times you cause yourself the most trouble. They children of Israel like us today complained because of being thirsty. God told Moses hit the rock for over three million people to drink.
There is always provision in the wilderness. In John 7:36-38 Jesus said let everyone who is thirsty come and drink. Matthew 5 Jesus said blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they shall be filled.
Trust it easy to say I trust however it is hard to trust in the wilderness when you don’t see how what you need and desire will be provided.
People came all over for prayer as people need God to show up in impossible places and give water in the wilderness. It is time to trust when you can not trace Him God is always there to provide water in the wilderness.
