Imagine you are on a lake or an ocean and you want to stop, however there is no way to stop. On an ocean or large lake there is no way to stop, a large body of water like an ocean or lake is a lot like life no way to stop or even pause.

What is your anchor?
A lot of people are anchored in drugs, if they do not have a pill they become deathly sick. There are a lot of people who are anchored in drinking, if they do not have the drink they become deathly ill. There are many people who are anchored in sexual relationships, a different person and different sexual act every day or every week.
Nevertheless there are many truly devoted followers of Jesus people who have been born again; there anchor is in Jesus He will never fail. There are many who anchored in the cross; because Jesus was crucified on a cross and put in a grave, however He is no longer in the grave He came out of the grave and is alive. There are many who anchored in the blood; the blood still saves heals and deliver. Jesus shed His blood for you. If you are not anchored in the word and prayer then you have no anchor.
What is going to be your an anchor a pill, a drink, sexual act, or Jesus?
You can survive a lot in life however you can not survive without Jesus. Jesus He is the one anchor that will never fail no matter the storm.
What anchor are you holding on to? What anchor is holding you?
Lets always remember the anchor old despite the storms of life. The only true anchor is Jesus. Jesus is the rock to hold on to. His word is unshakable.
