Hope is a feeling of expectation and desire for a positive outcome, a belief that good things are possible, and a cognitive state that helps people envision and work towards a better future, even amidst uncertainty or difficulty. It’s more than just wishing; it involves a motivational drive to set and pursue goals, providing resilience and motivation.
New Hope Church of God founded by Mike and Paula Farmer in July of 2003, they was hurt and broken. Paula was carrying weights of brokenness. The two went to this church had meeting with Baptist pastor, Mike Farmer said we want to start a church how much.
New Hope was founded with 77 founding members. You would think nothing can go wrong and you are set. Mike Farmer looked said you are going to need bigger than what you have.
Mike Farmer would preach to everyone they need to be ready! Mike and Paula and their children never missed a church service. In September of 2012, Mike Farmer went Home. Paula and family went to church sat on front row hurt however whole. Mike Farmer was honored around the nation. Mike Farmer served the nation, the church, and most importantly he was one who served the Lord to the end.
Mike and April Addison, came to New Hope broken seemingly in a cave. They came from Community Pentecost Church in Independence, Ky., in 2008 to support and build New Hope Church of God. Mike and April originally from Norton, Va., Addison has a vision of growth he is always moving.
Mike Addison is over children home in Barbourville, Ky., he knows what it like to have family issues his dad killed his mom in 1995 and him and his brother was up to the state. However, Mike and Scott had prophet pastor Glen Sturgill took the two boys in.
The Lord came to him where they was mining coal in 79 custom car with drug of choice and drink of choice in car; The Wind blew in he crawled down the isle of the church with hot tears running down his face saying God if you can use me I will serve you til I die. That was in 1997 and he has been serving God ever since.
There is no saying you don’t understand to Mike Addison or Paula Farmer. The two have lived through it all and still going on what the Word says.
Imagine you have a best friend who dies of diabetic sugar coma you and you leaned on him for everything. You would feel like there is no hope. Imagine getting a call your son and brother was murdered, imagine how you would feel. You would feel like there is no hope.
During November and December people feel hopeless and there is suicide many people are depressed during these two months.
There are many people who had hope in President Obama and President Trump, however there is only one who can save heal deliver the only ONE you should have hope in. Hope is not in a donkey or an elephant; hope is really a lamb Jesus Christ.
If you are feeling like there is no hope. You are wrong there is always hope you just have to look and you will find hope.
