Cora Wilson, 35 of Mount Vernon is charged murder and has been in jail since Christmas Eve and was arrested at her parents house.
Wilson is no stranger to jail; in August of 2013 she got arrested for trafficking meth in London and for possession of pills in Ohio.
“I can not survive without a oxycodone pill,” Wilson said.
Wilson had been shooting up and snorting. The hospital could not find a vein multiple drugs was in her system,

“It was bad weather,” McGuire said.
“It was black ice that caused the accident,” Wilson said.
Wilson’s bond is a half a million cash.
“I have to give her money for commissary and food because is a picky eater,” McGuire said. “It is a joke the jail system takes half before she gets anything.”

The main charge against Wilson is murder. Darlene Woods, 58 died just before Christmas from her the wreck.
Wilson stated Woods was on medication to and stated she loved Woods.

“Taking the oxycodone pill was not only a wrong move it was the worse mistake I ever made the pills are addictive,” Wilson said. “I got to where 20-30 pills would get me through a day.”
With the economy like it is people have sold drugs to survive. Drug trafficking is one of the charges against Wilson. Wilson had been taking people to Tennessee, to Maryland, and to Florida for pills.
“The murder charges are triumphed up,” McGuire said. “It is just not right; our baby girl was in the car when the accident happened.”
Cora Wilson’s next court date is set for Friday, September 19 at 1 p.m., and it looks to be formally sentenced as she took a plea deal Thursday July 31st of 10 years and she has to serve 8.5 years of that.
