What do you think of when you say trick or treat or see October 31st Halloween? most people think it is a time to dress up and get candy.

What if there was an alternative to trick or treat and still get candy?
There is a safe alternative and a major outreach called trunk or treat. There are a lot of churches that do trunk or treat as an outreach.
Trunk or treat is a major bridge outreach that churches do and parents do not have to check their young kids candy.
New Hope Church of God has trunk or treat or Sunday October 26th starting at 4 p.m. Last year New Hope ministered to over a thousand people in the community. Ministry is service. If are doing anything as unto the Lord for people it is ministry.
Some churches do trunk or treat on October 31st.
Lets all remember trunk or treat is a safe alternative to trick or treat. Trunk or treat is a bridge outreach. Trunk or treat gets the community on your grounds, parking lot or in field to minister and hand out candy to those in the community.
There was a time when dressing up was fun; that has no longer been the case. There are predators out to get your kids. It used to be a common thing for kids to be outside playing. That is no longer as simple as letting children play outside or walk to store.
Safety is key now. New Hope Church of God has safety in mind. There are over 600 members of New Hope Church of God. They have outgrown two buildings and needing to build another sanctuary.
New Hope Church of God is always thinking of ways to do outreach to the community.
Trunk or treat is safe alternative and it is a major bridge outreach.
