CELL PHONES
(London, Ky.)
Imagine a world without the technology of cell phones; remember how much similar life was.
Back in 2001, there was Nextel which was bought out by Sprint. You would be hard pressed to find a Sprint cell phone store in London.
There are really two main cell phone companies AT&T and Verizon. Both companies have phones that are minicomputers.
When you sign a contract for two years you can break that contract for a price. However, if you have a great company that works with you; you do not want to break your contract.
There are companies that care and are loyal AT&T is one of those companies if not the only company that will be more out to work with you and keep you as a customer.
Now people text and say stuff they should not say the world was less complicated when people talked. Now you do not know when somebody is angry or happy because of texting.
There is also the internet on cell phones.
Cell phones are out numbering landlines phones use. People don’t use landline phones much anymore they have numbers programmed in their cell phone you do not have to dial just go to the name and it is dialed.
Even the poorest of the poor people have cell phones. Cell phones are almost critical in life.
There is also a thing called straight talk you buy minutes put on phone the phone is owned by Verizon.
Nextel was popular because the walkie talkie function 2-way direct connect. Nextel nor Sprint has the 2-way direct connect function. It is all text and internet use now.
The internet or data use is what cell phone companies get people with on their bill.
